Shannon's path towards holistic healing was paved by personal trials. As a dancer, she found herself constantly wrestling with injuries and imbalances that left her in pain, and with more questions than answers. Dissatisfied with the limited solutions offered by Western medicine, Shannon took it upon herself to delve deeper into the science of the body and healing.

Armed with a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Kinesiology and Science, Shannon embarked on an enriching journey to explore medicine from a holistic, global perspective. She attended the Won Institute and later journeyed to Iksan, South Korea, immersing herself in the study of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Her overseas studies unlocked the significant potential of acupuncture and herbal medicine in the recovery process.
